What this website is, what it is not, and what an appointment request actually means.
This site is information, not medical advice
Everything on this website is general patient information. It describes conditions and operations in ordinary language so that a consultation is easier to follow. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and not a substitute for being examined.
Two people with the same symptom can need entirely different treatment. Only an examination, with your history and your reports, can establish what applies to you.
No doctor–patient relationship
Reading this website, sending a message, or requesting an appointment does not by itself create a doctor–patient relationship. That relationship begins at consultation.
In an emergency
Do not use this website, WhatsApp or email for anything urgent. Severe pain, a hernia that will not go back in, heavy bleeding, difficulty breathing, or vomiting that will not stop needs a hospital — not a message.
If it is urgent, call +8801717-222446 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Appointment requests
An appointment request sent from this site is a request, not a confirmed booking. It is confirmed only when the chamber team calls you back. Chamber timings can change, and serial availability is decided by the chamber, not by this website.
Accuracy and updates
Content is prepared carefully and dated. Medical practice changes over time, and a page that was accurate when written may not remain so indefinitely. Where a page carries a “last updated” date, that is when it was last reviewed.
No outcome, recovery time or result is promised anywhere on this site. Where recovery periods are described, they are what usually happens — your own will be given to you at discharge.
Fees
Consultation and procedure fees are set by the chambers and hospitals, not by this website, and they can change. Please confirm current fees with the chamber directly.
Links to other sites
This site links to YouTube, Google Maps, WhatsApp and social media profiles. Those services are outside our control and are governed by their own terms.
Content and images
The text, photographs and design on this website belong to Dr. Khandaker ABM Abdullah Al Hasan unless stated otherwise. Please do not reproduce them without permission. Quoting a short passage with a link back is fine.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
